Mr. Watson serves as MRV Banks President and Chief Executive Officer. He has over 35 years of banking experience in Missouri. Mr. Watson earned a B.S. degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting and a minor in Psychology from Southeast Missouri State University and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University. He is active in several community service organizations.

Mr. Cook serves as MRV Banks’ Market President in Cape Girardeau. He has over 20 years of banking experience in Missouri. Mr. Cook earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Southeast Missouri State University and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado. He is active in several community service organizations and has coached local youth sport teams.

Mr. Abts serves as the Bank’s Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Abts has over 34 years experience in the accounting and operations areas of banking in Sainte Genevieve. Mr. Abts has a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Missouri at Columbia Missouri. Mr. Abts has been a member of the Community Center board since its formation. He is currently a board member of the Ste. Genevieve Chamber of Commerce. He is active is several community service organizations including the Knights of Columbus and the Lions Club.

Mr. McPheeters is Senior Vice President for MRV Banks. Mr. McPheeters has directed customer acquisition, business development and marketing strategies for banks since the late 1980’s. He has also served as a Chamber of Commerce Director at the local and state levels and has been involved in economic development, having served as manager of the state’s largest industrial park.

Mr. Lawrence serves as MRV Banks' Senior Vice-President and Senior Lender.  He has over 20 years of community banking experience specializing in consumer, residential and commercial lending.  Mr. Lawrence earned a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and Marketing from Truman State University and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University.  He has been active in several community service organizations including Rotary, Kiwanis, and Chamber of Commerce.

Ms. Hopkins serves as Vice President for MRV Banks.  Ms. Hopkins has over 33 years of experience in banking. Starting out as a part time bookkeeper as a Co-op student in high school, she has worked in all areas of banking including operations, retail, and lending. Pam is currently MRV Bank’s Starz 50+ coordinator. Additionally, prior to joining MRV Banks Ms. Hopkins was self-employed as a mortgage broker.

Mr. Guard is currently Assistant Vice President with the bank in Cape Girardeau, Mo. He has nearly a decade of banking experience in the Cape Girardeau market. Robbie earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and a minor in Political Science from Southeast Missouri State University. Robbie was also recognized as one of the Top 40 Under 40 in business by the Business Today/Southeast Missourian in 2008. Robbie is involved in the Cape Girardeau Jaycees, Cape Noon Lions, Order of Elks, Chamber Young Professionals, 2005 Graduate of Leadership Cape, City of Cape Golf Board, and Pi Kappa Alpha Chapter Advisor.

Greg has over 12 years of consumer and residential mortgage lending experience. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Southeast Missouri State University. Greg has been a member of the Cape Girardeau Jaycee’s, President of his Church’s Mens Club, and has coached local youth sports teams.

She earned her B.A. in English from the University of Missouri-Columbia and M.S. in Human Resources from Amberton University in Garland, TX. She serves on the board and is an active member of the Sikeston Regional Chamber of Commerce. Taylor was the recipient of the Chamber’s 2014 Volunteer of the Year Award and is a 2012 graduate of Leadership Sikeston.
